Der Tag begann unspektakulär mit der Zugfahrt nach Tokyo. Wir fuhren von Kyoto nach Shin Osaka und kamen dann wieder an Kyoto vorbei – spätestens dort merkten wir, dass wir uns einen Weg hätten sparen können. Aber egal, wir saßen schon bevor alle anderen an der Kyoto Station einstiegen, das zählt!
Und dann passierte auf der Zugfahrt das Unglaubliche: mit einem Mal thronte der Fuji vor unserer Nase! Wir konnten es kaum fassen! Da war er plötzlich und sah so majestätisch aus. Kaum zu glauben, dass wir letztes Jahr da oben gewesen sind.
Im Hostel warfen wir nur kurz unsere Rucksäcke ab und schossen dann gleich weiter nach Ikebukoro. Und hier ist die Hölle los! Menschenmassen, Unterhaltungsangebote, Shops, laute Musik, Unruhe – genau mein Ding!
Wir beendeten in Sunshine City, einer Shopping Mall, unsere Pokemon Stempelaktion (geplant) und kauften ein großes Pikachu (nicht geplant).
Den ganzen Abend verbrachten wir noch hier und schauten durch viele Läden.
Zum Abschluss kosteten wir, ob das Eis bei Baskin Robbins immer noch so lecker schmeckt wie letztes Jahr.
