Um 10 uhr morgens trafen wir uns Mit Mitsu und Tomo vor unserem Hotel, um gemeinsam zum Aoshima Beach zu fahren. Währen der Fahrt präsentierte Tomo uns den akurat aufgeführten Tagesplan mit sämtlichen Stops und Zeiten. Wir badeten ausgiebig in der wellenreichen See und stärkten uns mit einem leckeren Burger aus einem kleinen, an abgelegenen Bahngleisen verstecktem Lokal. Danach fuhren wir eine gute Stunde an der atemberaubenden Steilküste entlang und bestaunten die riesigen Wellen, welche am Strand brachen.
Dann ließen wir uns kurz in das traditionelle Bogenschießen einführen und konnten selbst versuchen, die kleine Zielscheibe zu treffen. Mit Trommelwirbel und witzigen Kommentaren von dem Besitzer des Bogenstandes begleitet, war selbst das unter hoher Konzentration unglaublich witzig. Anschließend besuchten wir im selben Ort ein kleines Café, in welchem man regionale Süßigkeiten wie zum Beispiel Dangos und Milcheis mit Grüner-Tee-Pulver, Cornflakes und Gelantinewürfeln. Für die Weiterreise gestärkt traten wir den Weg an, welcher uns zum Udo-Schrein führte. Der Schrein wurde in einer Höhle gebaut und ist über einen an der Küste entlang und über Brücken führenden Weg zu erreichen. Viele Japaner versuchten sich darin, kleine Tonsteine in ein entferntes Loch in den Klippen zu werfen, um bei Gelingen einen Wunsch frei zu haben. Wir sagen einigen dabei zu und freuten uns mit ihnen, wenn doch jemand traf.
Nach einer weiteren Stunde Fahrt waren wir wieder in Miyazaki City und gingen geradewegs in das größte Shoppingcenter am Platz. Unser Ziel war die Spielhalle, wo wir Tischhockey spielten, René einen kleinen glitzernden Bären aus eine „Crane-maschine“ fischte und wir unbeschreiblichen Spaß beim Pikura machen hatten.
