Heute waren wir wieder zu dritt auf Achse und starteten gegen neun an der Asakusa Station und liefen im gemäßigten Tempo, weil heiß, durch das Viertel, vorbei am Schrein, am Sumida River entlang und dann immer mit Blick auf den Skytree. Im großen Center direkt unter dem Skytree, dem höchsten Gebäude Tokyos, nahmen wir in aller Ruhe erst einmal ein Frühstück mit Blick auf Tokyo zu uns.
Im Anschluss machten wir eine ganze Weile das Pokemon Center unsicher und erjagten eine stattliche Anzahl der pelzigen Gefährten. Dann ging es mit dem Zug weiter nach Odaiba, dem großen Vergnügungsviertel Tokyos.
Das Wissenschaftsmuseum, welches wir auf dem Plan hatten, war leider geschlossen, aber das störte uns nicht- wir fanden die riesige Gundam Statue, erkundeten die Gegend, aßen in einem kleinen gemütlichen Nudelladen Frühstück, machten einen kurzen Abstecher nach New York, sahen endlich einmal die Skyline von Tokyo, konnten den ganzen Tag Pokemon Go zocken, hatte wahnsinnig viel Spaß und bummelten durch die vielen Center.
Am frühen Abend trennten sich in Akihabara unsere Wege und wir begaben uns in das Chaos aus engen und mit Figuren überfüllten Läden. Hier ist immer Trubel und was los. Zwar schließen gegen acht die meisten Geschäfte, aber der Strom, vorwiegend auch an Ausländern reißt einfach nicht ab.
