Nach nochmals 9 stunden Flug, die ich komplett mit schlafen und essen (schlafen war dabei der höhere Anteil)verbracht hab und René wieder einen Film geschaut hat und aus Schlafmangel mehr oder weniger vor sich hinvegetierte, sind wir letztendlich in Narita gelandet. Wer meint, Deutschland hätte es mit der Bürokratie, der irrt! Gefühlte tausend Zettel galt es auszufüllen. Die anschließende Zugfahrt nach Tokyo klappte auch super…weiche Sitze und Frauen mit Pinguinkleidchen, die Snacks servieren ^^

Erste Probleme galt es auf dem tokyoter Bahnhof zu überwinden. Nachdem uns 3 Mann in gebrochenem Englisch zu erklären versuchten, dass unser Zug nicht mehr fahre und auch kein Geldwechsler mehr aufhatte, entschlossen wir uns waghalsig (denn ohne Geld), das Taxi zu nehmen. Dieses war zwar kostspielig, jedoch haben wir ganz Tokyo gesehen (unser Hostel zählt angeblich schon gar nicht mehr dazu). Der erste Eindruck war nicht enttäuschend – super saubere Stadt, viele Fahrradfahrer und Leuchtwerbung an jeder Ecke!

Das treffendste Wort für unsere Unterkunft wäre wohl: klein. Dafür ist das Hostel komplett belegt und wir haben schon erste deutsche Bekanntschaften gemacht. Vor unserem Zimmer, worin gerade mal ein riesiges Doppelstockbett steht und nichts weiter Platz hat, schließt sich die Küche an mit Dusche und Toilette, was allerdings von allen Hostelbesuchen genutzt wird. Das heißt, auch nachts um 2 duscht noch jemand unmittelbar vor unserer Plastik-Schiebetür. Aber auch das wird uns jetzt nicht vom Schlafen abhalten… Morgen geht’s dann, sofern wir uns in der Lage fühlen, nach Kamakura, Schreine, Tempel und Natur besichtigen.
