Bevor es Abschied von Yokohama hieß, sahen wir uns noch einen letzten Pikachu Marsch, diesmal von oben, an. Heute zum Samstag waren es nochmal mehr Zuschauer als gestern schon und ein Vorankommen in jeglicher Hinsicht war schwer. Das merkten wir spätestens bei der Stempelralley. Auf je zwei Etagen in zwei verschiedenen Shopping Malls waren Stempelstände aufgebaut, an denen man sich seine Evoli Karte abstempeln und am Ende gegen eine kleines Geschenk eintauschen kann. Die ersten drei Stände erreichten wir problemlos, beim vierten und letzten aber stand eine riesige Schlange, warum auch immer. Eine halbe Stunde warteten wir, bis wir unsere Quest abschließen und unsere halb fertig gestempelte Karte im Pokemon Center vorzeigen konnten. Teil zwei der Ralley wird dann in Tokyo fortgesetzt!
Dass Ferien und Wochenende ist, machte sich auch auf dem Hauptbahnhof Tokyo bemerkbar. Davon abgesehen, dass man den möglichst immer meiden sollte, wenn man nicht auf Stress steht, war das heute der absolute Horror! Pro Minute rauschten mehrere tausend Menschen an einem vorbei, man musste ständig ausweichen, Wege suchen, aufpassen, niemanden zu treten und zusätzlich den Zug finden. Dort stand man dann in 3 Reihen und wartete auf den Einlass mit der Hoffnung, einen Sitzplatz für die dreistündige Fahrt nach Kanazawa zu bekommen. Wir hatten auch Glück aber der ganze Mittelgang stand voller Menschen, die nicht rechtzeitig am Gleis anstanden.
Kanazawa ist eine hübsche Kleinstadt voller alter Häuser. Wir passten selbstverständlich auch absolut geplant 😉 ein Musikfestival ab, bei dem verschiedene Tanzgruppen ihr Können zu Schau stellten und teilweise am Ende weniger Kleidung am Körper trugen als anfangs. Für das Fest waren mehrere Straßen gesperrt. Wo sonst Autos stehen, wurden an vielen kleinen Ständen verschiedenste Leckereien angeboten: Yakitori, Hühnchen paniert, Okonimiyaki, Würstchen,…sodass unser Abendessen gleich gesichert war.
Auch unsere Unterkunft kann sich sehen lassen – wir haben ein kleines Apartment mit eigenem Bad (yeah!) und Leihfahrrädern! Die hatten heute schon ihren ersten Kurzeinsatz und werden morgen jeden Winkel ihrer Stadt zu sehen bekommen. 😉
