Nach der langen Reise mit Auto, Flugzeug, Zug, Laufbändern und zu Fuß, kamen wir endlich im noblen Hotel an und waren noch voller Elan, uns etwas zu Essen zu suchen. Gleich in der Nähe gab es einige kleine Restaurants, von denen wir uns eins aussuchten. Und schon am nächsten Morgen hieß es wieder in den Zug zu steigen – für neun Stunden und mit zwei Mal umsteigen. Die Dame am Zugschalter hatte uns tags zuvor noch auf die Eventualität vorbereitet, dass die Züge heute aufgrund mehrerer Taifunwarnungen möglicherweise nicht fahren würden. Doch bis auf einen starken Regenschauer am Morgen hatten wir den restlichen Tag strahlenden Sonnenschein. In Nagasaki finden wir den Weg mittlerweile im Schlaf zu dem wunderschönen kleinen Hostel direkt an den steinernen Brücken, die über den Fluss mit den vielen Karpfen führen. Und wenn man mit den Wortren „Ihr wart schon mal hier!“ begrüßt wird, ist man wirklich schon oft dagewesen. Wir schmissen nur verächtlich unsere Taschen ins Zimmer und liefen los, zum Restaurant, dessen Aufgang man in der hintersten Ecke eines Gemüseladens finden kann. Für wenig Geld kann man dort so viel essen, wie man nur schafft und das Angebot nehmen wir gern an. Da es noch nicht allzu spät war und zu schön warm, um schon zurück ins Hostel zu gehen, zückten wir Telefone und Powerbanks und starten eine vier stündige Pokemon-Jagd quer durch die Stadt. Und das macht umso mehr Spaß wenn selbst in der Woche, abends um elf noch Menschen allen Alters das gleiche tun und so die nächtlichen Straßen beleben.
