Der heutige Morgen begann etwas wehmütig, denn der Abschied mit unserem Hostelvater stand bevor. Wir frühstückten noch gemeinsam und zeigten ihm die Bilder vom vergangen Tag. Dann bat er uns, zum Abschied noch ein Bild machen zu dürfen und drückte seiner Frau das Tablet in die Hand. Beim betrachten des entstandenen Bildes, lachte er plötzlich laut los. „Oh Gott, mein Kopf sieht ja riesig aus! Das nächste Mal muss ich 2 Meter weiter hinter gehen!“ Dann zeigte er auf seine Frau und meinte lachend, dass ihrer ja genauso riesig sei. Zum Abschied gaben wir ihm das kleine Geschenk, welches wir am Vortag kauften und zogen dann los zum Bahnhof.
In Sendai angekommen lauschte wir kurz einem Liveorchester, dass anlässlich des Muttertags im Bahnhof spielte. Laut der netten, jungen und englisch sprechenden Dame im Tourismuscenter, sollten wir den Bus Richtung „Kirin Beer“ nehmen. Warum die Endhaltestelle nach einem Bier benannt wurde, ist uns immer noch ein Rätsel – vielleicht wird dort ja aber Kirin gebraut.
Unser Hotel ist die Urlaubsüberraschung schlechthin! Wobei ich gar nicht zu definieren weiß, ob im positiven oder negativen Sinn. Unser als seriös gebuchtes Hotel stellt sich als typisch japanisches LOVE-Hotel heraus. Mit Humor betrachtet, ein Erlebnis für sich. Wir haben einen großen Eingangsbereich, ein großes Bad mit Sprudelbadewanne, separater und natürlich beheizter Toilette, einen riesigen Fernseher mit Karaokefunktion und angeschlossenen Mikros und einen Spieleautomaten. Zusätzlich bekommen wir das Frühstück zu unserer Wunschzeit aufs Zimmer gebracht und können auf unserem Zimmer alles frei verwenden: Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher, 4 verschiedene Gesichtscremes, Badezusätze, Föhn, Lockenstab, einen seltsam aussehenden Massagestab, eine rote plüschige Feder,…. man kann sich vorstellen, was noch so alles zu finden ist.
