Wer einmal in Kyoto ist und nach einer Idee für die Abendgestaltung sucht, der sollte sich einen Besuch in der A-Bar nicht entgehen lassen. Zum einen begibt man sich schon auf ein Abenteuer, wenn man die Bar allein sucht, zum anderen kann man sich in einer entspannten Atmosphäre von seiner Suche erholen und die lohnt sich allemal!
Die doch rechte kleine Location ist bei Ausländern und Japanern gleichermaßen beliebt und meist gut gefüllt. Wer aufgeschlossene und stilsichere Individuen sucht, ist in der A-Bar richtig! Deutlich angeheiterte Geschäftsleute sitzen in feuchtfröhlicher Runde zusammen, der ein oder andere tanzt von der Musik beflügelt neben dem Tresen und modisch gekleidete Rockabillys machen einen Glauben, Elvis sei noch unter uns. Hier herrscht eine für Japan ungewöhnlich lockere Stimmung – man kommt schnell mit den anderen Gästen in Kontakt und sich gegenseitig ein Getränk auszugeben, ist eine Selbstverständlichkeit. Ebenso cool wie die rustikale Einrichtung, sind die „Kellner“, welche sehr um ihre Gäste bedacht sind. Bierflaschen werden grundsätzlich mit Essstäbchen geöffnet, die leger aus der Hosentasche gezogen werden und beim gekonnten Öffnen den Kronkorken unter dem Beifall der Gäste durch das ganze Lokal schnipsen lassen.
Für Hungrige stehen auch kleine Snacks im Angebot, die verhältnismäßig teuer aber auch ebenso lecker sind. Diesen Gewissenskampf muss jeder selbst mit sich austragen. Wir waren mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte Mal in der A-Bar!
