Eine große Zugstrecke lag heute vor uns. Von Hiroshima aus ging es nach Nagasaki: Im Akari Hostel wurden wir mit den Worten „Hey, lange nicht gesehen!“ begrüßt und haben jetzt den Status unseren Reisepass beim Check In nicht mehr vorzeigen zu müssen.
Nach einer kleinen Stärkung beim Restaurant zur goldenen Möwe, führen wir mit der Straßenbahn Richtung Seilbahn. Denn noch nie haben wir den Mount Inasa besichtigt und heute sollte es soweit sein. Der Ausblick vom 1100.m hohen Observationsdeck war schlichtweg bombastisch! Die ganze Stadt lag einem zu Füßen und am Horizont konnten wir die mit Wohnhäusern bebauten Berge sehen (und japanische Berge sind hübsch!) Sogar Battleship Island konnte man ganz klein in großer Entfernung ausmachen. Wir verharrten noch bis nach der Dämmerung, um den Nightview zu sehen, verließen dann aber fluchtartig den Berg, weil wir durch den starken Wind mittlerweile durchgefroren waren.
